We now invite applications for the following permanent position at our Ballindrait mill:

Lorry Driver
Job Ref No: SD/LD/06/25 

The Role:  The Lorry Driver will be responsible for providing a high-quality delivery service to customers. The role involves delivering bulk and bagged animal feed ensuring all orders are delivered safely, in good condition, accurately and on time, so that customers receive excellent customer service. Daily checks on your vehicle are essential, combined with excellent paperwork handling and working closely with the Transport Team to resolve issues. 

The Person: 

  • Hold a valid HGV Class C licence; 
  • Be fully CPC compliant; 
  • Have customer care experience; 
  • HGV Class E licence is desirable; 
  • Preferably have a Counterbalance and Mounty forklift licences; 
  • Ideally have experience of multi drop on farm deliveries. 

The successful candidate should be reliable, efficient, motivated and be able to work as part of a team. Candidates should have a good standard of education with the ability to complete accurate documentation, have a clean and tidy appearance and good communication skills. 

Normal working pattern is Monday to Friday with flexibility to work Saturdays if required. Starting times vary depending on the route deliveries and will involve early morning starts.
