Both Foyle and Swilly ferries to resume full service this weekend

Donegal County Council has confirmed the Greencastle to Magilligan (Foyle) and Buncrana to Rathmullan (Swilly) ferry services will resume full service this weekend.

They begin their summer schedules from Friday, May 30.

“Donegal County Council are delighted to announce that the Lough Foyle ferry service linking Greencastle and Magilligan and the Swilly Ferry service linking Buncrana and Rathmullan will operate a full service from 30 th May 2025,” a spokesperson said.

Both ferries operate seven days a week.
