Donegal Festival of Food starring celebrity chefs and local culinary figures comes to Oakfield Park

A celebrity-filled line-up of chefs has been announced for the Donegal Festival of Food and Craft this weekend at the beautiful Oakfield Park in Raphoe 

This Saturday 24th – Sunday 25th May, visitors can enjoy a weekend filled with cookery demonstrations, food and craft exhibitors, a Kids Kitchen by Cherrymore, Walled Garden Tours, live music, and family entertainment, all set within the stunning gardens.

The event is about celebrating the finest local artisan produce from around the Northwest and beyond.

Enjoy cooking demonstrations from local and renowned chefs, including the celebrated Marco Pierre White, Rachel Allen, Paula McIntyre, alongside other well-known local culinary figures. See the full schedule below.

Food critic Matthew Fort will be in attendance and John Breslin from Highland Radio will be your MC!

With activities designed for all ages, from foodie favourites to fun-filled kids’ zones, it promises to be a memorable weekend.

Trains will be running throughout the weekend, with the steam locomotive operating on Steam Sunday.

Seasonal and Gold Pass holders can attend this event for free by presenting their cards upon entry.
