Vacancy: Leading solicitors’ practice seeks Legal Secretary

Nathaniel Lacy and Partners LLP are seeking to recruit a Legal Secretary to join their firm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing secretarial and administrative support to their fee earner.

The role can be based in our Letterkenny, Dublin, Galway, Meath or Sligo offices.

This is a full time permanent position with a very competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities for this role will include:

1. Secretarial support to partner(s) and fee-earner(s) as required, ensuring that documentation and correspondence are produced to a high standard;

2. Dictation typing;

3. Renaming and saving post to case management system;

4. Preparing briefs/booklets for counsel/engineers and doctors;

5. Preparing booklets for hearing;

6. Preparation of bills/invoices from case management system;

7. Following up on payment of bills from clients as appropriate;

8. Dealing with telephone queries;

9. Other secretarial and administrative tasks as requested.

The successful candidate will have:

1. Minimum one year experience as a Legal Secretary essential;

2. Fast and accurate audio and copy typing skills;

3. Very strong IT skills;

4. Experience working with case management systems would be helpful;

5. Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
