Vacancy: Glenmore Estate seeks Nightshift Dairy Stockperson

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Glenmore Estate – Ireland’s leading sustainable group of companies incorporating several medium and large-scale renewable energy technologies, dairy, beef, arable and biogas.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nightshift Dairy Stockperson with a hands on approach to join our Team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Dairy Manager carrying out animal husbandry tasks, Feeding, Robot Maintenance, Calving.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for farming and the successful candidate will work within our state of the art Indoor Robotic dairy farm. Full training on robotic equipment will be given to the successful candidate.

This role reports directly to the Assistant Dairy Manager.

Duties:

Calving, Feeding.

Robot Maintenance & Cleaning.

Machinery work.

Precise Record keeping.

Yard & Shed upkeep.

This is not an exhaustive list and is subject to change and amendment as other tasks may be transferred as the person is trained.

Requirements

Proven track record in Dairy farming.

Attention to detail.

Highly motivated with a can do attitude.

Able to work on own initiative.

Integrity at all times.

Good communication skills.
