Rathmullan is bringing the buzz with Christmas markets and more!

A special Christmas-themed Rathmullan Maker’s Market showcasing local art, craft and food producers will be at the Pier Sheds in the County Donegal seaside town of Rathmullan on Saturday 7th December from 12 – 4pm.

As well as being able to stroll around the market it will also allow shoppers to meet the makers and – of course – sample some of the delights on offer.

For the kids, The Santa Express will be arriving at 1pm until 3pm, so be sure to bring them along to meet Santa for photos, receive a free ice cream or hot chocolate, a selection box and free face painting. Places are limited so it’s first come first served!

Then if that’s not enough excitement there will be Christmas Carol Singing with special guests Santa & Mrs Claus at 3pm until 4pm.

In the lead-up to Christmas, bringing a little je ne sais quoi to the village, local Rathmullan Café, An Stad will be hosting a four-week French Experience every Thursday from 11am until 1pm starting this Thursday 21st November.

So come join for some French conversation, coffee and a delicious French pastry by Decourt Desserts. Just come along, no need to register in advance – €10 entrance fee.

Rathmullan Maker’s Markets are organised through The Coasts, Hills and Glens – Connecting Communities project, a cross-border project funded by the International Fund for Ireland (IFI) and led by a partnership between Rathmullan the Way Forward CLG and Enterprise Causeway.
