People Before Profit in Derry will host a meeting with acclaimed American Labour organiser and socialist Natalia Tylim on the fallout of last week’s US Presidential Election.

Tylim is a prominent voice in New York Labour Unions and a well known anti war activist.

A spokesperson for People Before Profit explained the importance of the meeting:

“People are shocked but many are not surprised at the Trump victory.

“Biden’s Democrats delivered genocide in Palestine while domestically abandoning their traditional base.

“Vice President Harris did nothing to distance herself from the calamitous Biden Presidency.

“Tonight is a good chance to discuss how the Democratic Party lost this election and what a Trump victory will mean domestically and internationally. ”

The meeting takes place tonight at 7:30pm in the People Before Profit office in the Northern Counties Building, Waterloo Place.
