Philip Howell who tragically died while on holiday in Thailand

There is sadness over the tragic death of a man from Derry while on holiday in Thailand.

Philip Howell, from the Strathfoyle area, died on Wednesday, November 6.

McLaughlin Funeral Directors posted a family notice which reads as follows: “We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Philip Howell tragically while on holidays in Thailand on 6th of November 2024.

“May he rest in peace.

“Late of 63 The Hillocks, Altnagelvin, Derry, BT47 3FS and formerly of 38 Dereen Drive, Strathfoyle, Derry, BT47 6UZ.

“Beloved son of Doris. Loved partner of Julie.

“Cherished brother of Sharon, Jane, Sarah and Megan.

“Loving uncle of Sean, Kevin, Dylan, Ryan, Sara, Callum, Kyle and Mason.

“Wake and funeral arrangements will be published here at a later date when they become available.
