Mayor’s tea dance will be virtual next Tuesday on the Mark Patterson show

The Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council is delighted to reveal plans for a very special Christmas Tea Dance in St Pat’s Hall in Strabane.

Inviting everyone to attend Councillor Lilian Seenoi Barr explained: “I can’t wait to host my Christmas Tea Dance in St Pat’s Hall on Tuesday, 17th December from 2-4pm.

“I really enjoy attending the Mayor’s Tea Dances as it gives me the opportunity to meet members of the public and have a cup of tea and a chat with some lovely people.

“It’s even nicer to be able to do this in the run up to Christmas when people like to get out and meet old friends and new.

“We know that as the winter nights start to close in that many people feel more isolated, so I’d love everyone to put this date in their diary now so we all have a wonderful afternoon of music and friendship to look forward to.

“I always get such a warm welcome when I visit Strabane, and I know this occasion will be no exception. Music on the day will be by The Band Friends. Get your ticket now, get your dancing shoes ready, and I’ll see you all soon.”

Anyone hoping to attend on 17th December must register their details by contacting the Mayor’s office on 028 71 376527 or e-mailing [email protected]
