Job Vacancies: Team Land Surveyor and Geospatial Engineer opportunities

Digital Land Surveyors Ltd is a firm of surveyors based in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.

Two vacancies have arisen, see below for details of each role:

Vacancy: Team Land Surveyor

Duties of the role
– Ability to assist/set up and use survey equipment: Total Stations & GPS Equipment.
– Utilisation of post processing software for surveying purposes: Carlson & AutoCAD.
– Utilise modern survey methods and surveying devices such as Total Stations & GPS equipment.
– Perform detailed field and office surveying work
– Client liaison

Role requirements
– 2+year experience in Land Surveying (Site & Office Processing)
– Diploma or degree qualified in Land Surveying, Engineering or relevant experience.
– Ability to work as part of a team and work on own initiative when required.
– Physically capable to carry out the role.
– Relevant safe pass/safety certs.
– Have strong knowledge of current CAD technology.
– Possess a full Irish or EU driving licence.
– Occasional flexibility in working hours.
– Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.

Vacancy: Geospatial Engineer

Previous experience in the Geospatial / Land Surveying is essential.

Key Responsibilities
– Staking/setting out for various trades in construction industry.
– Prepare and analyse data for setting out.
– Utilisation of post processing software for mapping & surveying purposes: Carlson & AutoCAD.
– Utilise modern survey methods and surveying devices such as Total Stations & GPS equipment.
– Perform detailed field and office surveying work
– Preparation of detailed mapping for contract/transfer purposes in accordance with PRA requirements.
– Build and maintain relationships with clients ensuring we deliver projects to customer requirements.
– Client liaison

Requirements
– 2+year experience in Land Surveying/Mapping
– Diploma or degree qualified in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Engineering or similar.
– Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
– Ability to work as part of a team and work on own initiative when required.
– Knowledge of the principles and practices of surveying & mapping.
– Relevant safe pass/safety certs.
– Understand scope of works/deadlines and project requirements.
– Have strong knowledge of current CAD technology.
– Possess a full Irish or EU driving licence.
– Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
