Local job seekers and those considering a change of career had the opportunity to connect with 17 local employers at a Jobs Fair in the Alley Theatre in Strabane this week.

The event targeted people of all ages and abilities and exhibitors were in attendance from a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, social care, retail and the public sector.

The event was hosted by the Department for Communities (Strabane Jobs and Benefits Office) and Derry and Strabane Labour Market Partnership.

Local job seekers had the chance to speak directly with prospective employers and find out more about the opportunities available across the Council area.

Council Officers were also in attendance to provide advice and support about potential career pathways and assist people in enhancing their future prospects.
