July Bank Holiday Opening Hours information

The Tower Museum in Derry

Derry City and Strabane District Council have advised that there be minimal disruption to Council services during the upcoming 12th July Bank Holiday weekend.

Bins collection services will operate as normal and Recycling Centres, with the exception of the Newtownstewart facility, will be open as normal.

All Council owned Cemeteries will be open as normal.

Visitor Services including The Tower Museum and The Guildhall will open as normal.

The Alley Theatre in Strabane will be closed on Friday 12th and open as normal Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4.30pm.

Both the Derry and Strabane Registry Offices will be closed on Friday 12th July with the Derry office reopening on Monday 15th and the Strabane office remaining closed until Tuesday 16th.

There will also be some slight changes to Leisure Opening Hours which include:

Bishops Field, Brooke Park, City Baths, Templemore Sports Complex will be open as normal on Friday 12 July.
Foyle Arena, Riversdale Leisure Centre, Melvin Sports Complex and Derg Valley Leisure Centre will be closed on Friday 12th July.

The Brandywell will be closed to the public but open to facilitate an agreed league match.
