Mass to be held to remember victims of Creeslough tragedy

The victims of the Creeslough tragedy will be remembered and prayed for during a morning Mass at St Eunan’s Cathedral in Letterkenny this week.

Thursday’s Mass at 8 am will remember the 10 people who lost their lives in the tragic explosion on the October 7, 2022.

The ten victims remain in the hearts and minds of all: five-year-old Shauna Flanagan Garwe and her dad Robert Garwe, 50, Catherine O’Donnell, 39, and her son James Monaghan, 13, Leona Harper, 14, Jessica Gallagher, 24, James O’Flaherty, 48, Martin McGill, 49, Martina Martin, 49 and Hugh Kelly, 59.

Thursday 11th July is also the feast day of St Benedict, one of the patron saints of Europe and of Students.
