Four arrested over drug seizures in Derry

Officers from the PSNI’s Derry District Support Team conducted a search at a property in The Old Fort area of Strathfoyle on Wednesday evening, March 27.

During the proactive search a quantity of Class A and B Drugs and a sum of cash was seized.

Four men aged, 20, 20, 25 and 54 were arrested on suspicion of a number of drug related offences.

They are currently in custody at this time being questioned under the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act.

Chief Inspector Luke Moyne said: “We remain determined to remove harmful drugs from our streets and to remove money and assets from those who trade in such drugs.

“We rely on information from the communities affected to allow us to make such seizures and continue to disrupt organised criminality.
