Derry to Belfast bus will not run on three days this month over fresh strike action by Translink staff

Bus and train passengers across the North of Ireland will face further disruption after unions announced three more strike dates this month.

Translink employees are taking further industrial action in their ongoing dispute over pay.

The next 24-hour strike dates are:

Friday, December 15;

Saturday, December 16;

and Friday, December 22.

The strike last Friday, December 1, caused widespread disruption.

No public buses nor trains were operational for a 24-hour period.

The weekends leading up to Christmas are usually among the busiest periods for the hospitality industry and shops.
