McElhinneys of Ballybofey unveiled its annual Christmas Window for the 2023 festivities at a spectacular family event on Sunday evening.

The theme of the McElhinneys Christmas window this year is the ‘Land of Awe and Wonder’ with the key messages of the window taking us all on a journey of Christmas traditions from years gone by that have shaped how we spend this very extraordinary and enchanting time of year.

All are welcome to visit the McElhinneys Christmas Window this year and be enthralled by the different stories of the inhabitants of the Land of Awe and Wonder as the Queen of Awe and Wonder prepares the magical kingdom for Christmas this year.

Unveiling of the ‘Land of Awe and Wonder’ window on Sunday

Those who have the opportunity to join us this festive season will be delighted with fairytale animals from the kingdom, creatures travelling home for Christmas, and many more traditions.

As always, the window was designed and created in-store by the McElhinneys creative team who pride themselves on bringing joy to not only the local community but those who come to visit from far and wide.

Family is at the core of McElhinneys as a business and this is represented in the window display again this year – it is for everyone to enjoy, and we expect everyone to have a different interpretation of it that will emerge from our own family Christmas traditions and our family heritage.

The McElhinney Team wishes to thank customers for their continued support and custom throughout this year and hope they are all filled with Christmas joy on a visit to our window display.
