Detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit have recovered a machine pistol, a quantity of ammunition and six improvised explosive devices.
The seizures were made following a policing operation in the Stewarts Terrace area of Rosemount in Derry on Friday September 8.
The items will be subject to rigorous forensic examination for fingerprints and DNA.
The investigation remains ongoing and detectives continue to appeal to anyone with information which could assist them to call police on 101.
