A woman is in hosptial in a seriously condition after a car crashed into a tree in Derry.
The crash happened on the Letterkenny Road at 8.45 am today, Tuesday, July 11.
Police said emergency services were called to the scene after a silver Peugeot 207 was involved in a collision with a tree.
“One woman was taken to hospital where she remains in a serious condition at this time,” PSNI Insp Craig said.
The Letterkenny Road which was closed while the PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit examined the scene to establish how the crash happened, has since reopened.
Said a police spokesperson: “We appreciate your patience and understanding.”
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on the 101 number and quote reference number 345 of 11/07/23.
