Vacancy: Donegal firm seeks Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper

A Donegal truck and van dealer is currently seeking an Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper.

The position can be full time/part time and includes flexible working hours.

Company:

McMenamin Commercials is an Authorised Renault Truck & Van dealer located on the outskirts of Letterkenny, Co.Donegal. We currently have a position available within our team for an Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper.

Role/Description:

The Successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Data Entry: Recording financial transactions, inputting purchase/sales invoices on the accounts system

Recording of receipts and payments to relevant ledgers

Preparation of the monthly payment run

Credit control including preparation and sending of monthly statements

Reconciling accounts and bank reconciliation

Preparation of revenue related returns

Liaising with and preparing files for our accountant

General office administrative duties

Experience:

Must have prior bookkeeping experience

Experience in the use of computer based accounting packages

Ability to work on their own initiative and prioritise workload

Must have good communication skills
