Man hunted after cash taken in Derry restaurant burglary

Police are appealing for information in relation to a burglary in Derry this week.

It happened at a takeaway restaurant on lower Culmore Road area of the city, close to the retail complex.

Police Derry City and Strabane say: “A male described as being of a slim build, wearing a dark-coloured hooded top entered the premises through the roof and made off with a large sum of money between the hours of 1am and 2am on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

“If you were in this area and have seen anything suspicious, please contact Police on 101, reference number CC487 of 16/03/2023.”
