Council celebrating Irish Language Week

Irish Language Week is celebrated each year from 1st – 17th March.

It is an international festival which celebrates the Irish language and this year, Derry City and Strabane District Council says it is delighted provide a diverse programme of events designed to provide opportunities for its staff and for the local community to learn and use the Irish language throughout the city and district.

Is féile idirnáisiúnta í a dhéanann ceiliúradh ar an Ghaeilge agus i mbliana tá lúcháir ar Chomhairle Chathair Dhoire agus Cheantar an tSratha Báin clár lán imeachtaí a chur ar fáil a spreagann foghlaim agus úsáid na Gaeilge i measc ár bhfoirne agus sa phobal araon. Bígí linn!
