Police appeal over suspicious male in Derry

Police are appealing for any witnesses who observed a suspicious male in the area between Barleyfields and the Magnet Bar on the main Culmore Road at approximately 5.30 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Police Derry City and Strabane: “A male described as mid 50’s, slim build, white hair and white beard, wearing a navy coat and dark baggy jeans was observed acting suspiciously in the area and may have walked in the direction of the Magnet Bar.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have caught this male on CCTV or dashcam, or who may be able to identify him to call 101 quoting serial number 1856 of 02/03/23.

“We appreciate information is scant, but any assistance in locating this male will assist in an ongoing investigation.”
