Items seized over bomb murder probe on police

Detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit investigating the attempted murder of two police officers in Strabane on Thursday, November 17, conducted a search at a property in the Innisfree Gardens area of Strabane.

A number of items were seized on Thursday evening, December 1, and were taken away for further forensic examination.

The New IRA claimed it carried out the bomb attack on a PSNI patrol car as it drove throught the Mount Carmel Heights area.

Detectives says the murder bid investigation continues and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them on 101.
