Donegal-based Inishowen Engineering

JOB VACANCIES: Inishowen Engineering require the following vacancies to be filled at its Manufacturing facility at Shandrum, Buncrana, Co. Donegal.

Position : Fabrication Welders

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Successful applicants will be working in our welding & fabrication departments in our new fully furbished manufacturing facility in Shandrum, Drumfries, Buncrana, Co. Donegal.

This will include fabrications for material handling equipment, quarrying and agri-sector. This opportunity will enable successful candidates to develop their knowledge within the growing engineering sector in Ireland.

Minimum requirements:

3 years’ experience working in Weld & Fabrication type operations.
Certified Welders (preferably but not essential as Inishowen Eng will certify).
Salary will be based on qualifications, skill level and work experience.

Position : Apprentice Welder

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

The Apprentice Welders role will be in support of our Welder Fabricators and training will be given to each trainee in their development with the help of experienced engineers.

Inishowen Engineering has been supporting apprentices for over 25 years in the local community.

Full ETB/Solas apprenticeship terms and conditions will apply for the successful applicants.

Position : Design Engineer

The successful candidate will be working within the Engineering Dept to assist manufacturing to design tooling & fixtures to optimise production by improving quality & productivity. This role will enable you to develop a strong understanding of engineering in a manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Engineering or equivalent as a minimum

Be fully competent in 3D CAD and Solid Works

Have experience in a manufacturing environment

Be self-motivated and be a good communicator working as part of a team

Position : CNC Milling & Turning Machinists

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Successful applicants will be working in our modern machining department that supports our metal fabrication manufacturing process. The successful applicant will be working with modern CNC equipment DMG Mori, Doosan , AWEA, HAAS and Mori Seiki CNC Milling & Turning Centres.

Minimum requirements:

3 years’ experience working in machining working environment.

Be able to program and operate CNC Mills & Turning centres.

Work as part of a team and liaise with management to produce quality products.

Salary will be based on qualifications, skill level and work experience.
