JOBS: Exciting new roles at boutique hotel in Inishowen

Job Vacancies: The Lake of Shadows Hotel in Buncrana, Co. Donegal has announced a team expansion with a number of vacancies. The well-established boutique hotel has been operating for well over 30 years.

We are recruiting for the following positions:

Food & Beverage Supervisor

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a busy restaurant
  • Possess experience in the hospitality industry
  • Available to work full time including daytime, evening, and weekend shifts
  • Be capable of working as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills

Experienced Bar and Waiting Staff

  • Available to part-time including daytime, evening, and weekend shifts 
  • Be capable of working as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience an advantage, though not essential as full training will be provided

Experienced Front of House Staff

  • Provide great customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of word and excel
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Bar/Waiting knowledge and experience are an advantage, though not essential as full training will be provided
  • Be flexible and available to work daytime, evenings, and weekend shifts

Experienced Night Porter

  • This is a part-time role which includes shifts and weekend work.
  • Be responsible for the security of the hotel and its guests overnight and abide by all health & safety legislation.
  • Can work on your own initiative and be able to work well with others
  • Possess excellent customer service skills and be able to interact with all department personnel.  
  • Relevant experience in a similar position would be an advantage.
