Requiem Mass on Sunday for crash victim Nathan Corrigan

Nathan Corrigan was one of three young men who tragically died in crash

THE funeral will take place this Sunday for the third of the young men who tragically died in a two vehicle crash earlier this week.

Nathan Corrigan, who was aged 20, lost his life on Monday, December 27, when he was travelling in white car with friends Petey McNamee and Peter Finnegan which was in a collision with an articulate lorry on the notorious A5 Omagh Road near Garvaghey.

Mr Finnegan and Mr McNamee will be laid to rest on Saturday following separate Mass services.

A family notice for Mr Corrigan today reads: “Corrigan, 14 Garvaghey Mews, Rarogan Road, Garvaghey, Ballygawley.
As the result of an accident.

“Nathan RIP, beloved son of Damian and Kate and loving brother of Callum. Cherished grandson of Charlie and Nell (RIP) Roberts and Seamus and Bernie Corrigan.

“Deeply regretted by his sorrowing mother, father, brother, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and large family circle.

“Funeral leaving his late residence at 12.30 pm on Sunday, January 2, 2022, for 1 pm Requiem Mass in St. Matthew’s Church, Garvaghey.

“Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

“Wake is private to family and friends only.

“Our Lady Queen of Peace, pray for him.”
