DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit, investigating violent dissident republican activity have arrested a 44 year old man in Derry this afternoon, Friday, October 22.
He was arrested under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act.
He has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite where he is currently being questioned by counter terrorism detectives.
The suspect can be held up to 48 hours before charged, released without bail or report to the Public Prosecution Service.
