PEOPLE who have been fully vaccinated in the EU or the US will not need to self-isolate when coming to the North of Ireland from Monday, August 2.

This easing of the Covid travel rules is in line with England, Scotland and Wales.

The Stormont Executive also decided to allow international cruises to restart from this Saturday, July 31.

Students arriving from red-list countries will be put into managed isolation facilities.

Those travelling into the North of Ireland will have to be double vaccinated with accredited vaccines.

There was also agreement that Villarreal fans coming to Belfast for August’s UEFA Super Cup final against Chelsea will not have to self-isolate.
