Only one all Premier Division clash was thrown up by the FAI Cup first round draw, conducted on Game On on RTÉ 2fm last night.

Derry City have to travel to United Park to play Tim Clancy’s Drogheda United side, performing impressively in their first season back in the top flight.

Defending champions Dundalk have a tricky away trip against First Division newcomers Treaty United, while the 2019 champions Shamrock Rovers host Galway United.

The draw provided us with four all-non league ties but perhaps the most striking tie of the round is the meeting of Munster Senior League club College Corinthians and Bohemians.

Ties are to be played on the weekend of July 24/25.

FAI Cup draw

Fairview Rangers v Finn Harps

Wexford v Cabinteely

Drogheda United v Derry City
