Job Vacancy: Fruit of the Loom is recruiting a full-time Accountant to join their team in Buncrana, Co. Donegal.

Accountant 

Working in our Finance team the successful candidate will

  • Maintain general ledger for one of the Company’s legal entities (Spalding)
  • Prepare month-end/quarterly/year-end accounts within prescribed deadlines 
  • Provide regular reports for Senior Management
  • Process intercompany transactions
  • Be in charge of Accounts Payable – process payments, manage cash flow, and petty cash
  • Manage royalty and marketing fee collection including preparing and issuing of invoices
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts in close cooperation with Senior Managers and support business planning
  • Assist the team’s accounting tasks, support preparation of monthly management accounts, including month end procedures and reconciliations for various legal entities

Profile:

  • Graduate level or similar work experience required, with 2-3 years’ experience of working in a busy Finance department
  • Show strong attention to detail
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software
  • Ability to multi task effectively and work within strict deadlines
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Be very methodical and organised

Position Type: Full time &  permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday
