BUSINESSES in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area’s growing digital-tech sector are being offered the chance for staff to receive industry specific sales and marketing training.

The Digi Business Acceleration Programme, hosted by Full Circle Management Solutions, is designed to give key people in the organisation guidance in developing the necessary skills and confidence to grow their business by selling their products and services more effectively.

Simon Devlin, Managing Director at Full Circle, explained more about what attendees can expect from the programme, which will be delivered over three workshops.

“The Derry and Strabane area has a thriving digital-tech sector offering unique products and services to a regional and international customer base,” he said.

“This free programme aims to offer local owners and managers within that sector the training to convert their technical offering into commercial opportunities by marketing and selling more effectively to potential customers.

“Three workshops will provide you with practical training on communicating with customers through marketing activities and sales techniques while access will also be available to one to one mentoring sessions from an experienced consultant who will work with you to tailor a sales plan for your business.”

To be eligible for the programme you must be an owner or senior staff member in a digital-tech business within the Derry City and Strabane District Council area aiming to grow over the next few years and employing less than 50 people.

Businesses can include web designers, app developers, software developers and other similar enterprises.

Due to ongoing restrictions relating to travel and social interaction, both workshops and one to one mentoring will be provided virtually using Zoom software.

If you are not familiar with this software, a member of the Full Circle team can assist you on how to access and use it.

The programme is free of charge to participants and forms part of the DCSDC Business Innovation and Growth Programme which is part-funded by Invest NI and the European Regional Development Fund under the Investment for Growth and Jobs Northern Ireland [2014 – 2020] Programme.

The Programme will start in early June 2021 December and will run until October 2021.

For more information contact Patrick at Full Circle [email protected] or 07932569698 who will liaise directly with you to ensure that you are eligible to apply and to assess your priority support needs in this field.

The deadline for all expressions of interest is Friday 14 May 2021 @ 13:00 – we encourage you to express your interest as soon as possible because we expect demand to be extremely high.
