2021 earmarked for Glen kitchen replacment scheme

SINN Féin’s Karen Mullan has said that a kitchen replacement scheme for Housing Executive residents in the Glen area is to take place in 2021.

Said the Foyle MLA: “We have had a number of enquiries from Housing Executive tenants in the Glen Estate regarding kitchen replacement schemes due to the age of their current kitchens.

“The Housing Executive has advised us that they are planning a kitchen replacement scheme in 2021.

“This will be preceded by a preparatory survey being carried out in each Housing Executive property which is eligible for a kitchen replacement.

“We will liaise further with the Housing Executive in the coming weeks and advise residents of further updates.”
