DERRY City and Strabane District Council says it has been forced to close several cemeeteries and one of its recycling centres because of the snow today, Saturday, February 13.
Those are the City Cemeetery, Altnagelvin and Ballyoan.
The Pennyburn Recycling Centre has also been shut because of the weather conditions.
Mayor Brian Tierney said today: “It’s very cold and icy out there so please stay safe if you’re out.”
