DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s TerrorisT Investigation Unit, with support from local district police officers, have conducted a search in Derry’s Creggan area today.
Police say it is part of an ongoing investigation into violent dissident republican activity.
A 43 year old man has been arrested under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
He has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
The police investigation continues, said a PSNi spokesperson.
