Cemeteries to remain closed over snow and ice

DERRY City and Strabane District Council say its cemeteries will remain closed this morning because of the snow and ice.

The council said in a statement: “Please note that all local cemeteries will remain closed again this morning for health and safety reasons due to snow and icy conditions.

“All burials will continue as normal.

“We will provide further updates throughout the day.”
