SINN Féin Foyle MLA Martina Anderson and party colleague Karen Mullan MLA met with Communities Minister Carál Ni Chuilin this week to check on the progress regarding long awaited repairs to homes on Clooney Terrace, Dungiven Road and Duddy’s Court.

Speaking after the meeting the Foyle MLA said: “Back in July Minster Ni Chuilin took time to visit residents in the Triangle area to hear their concerns over delays to this work.

“This is a situation the Minister has inherited, and local Councillor Christopher Jackson has been working on this for many years to try and find a resolution to this issue.

“That’s why we felt it was important to meet the Minister again this week to see what progress has been made to ensure that we get this much needed repair scheme sorted once and for all.

“Residents just want the work done.

“So I hope all parties can work collectively to get this resolved as speedily as possible and I will endeavour to do all I can to make this happen.”
