The stolen orange Hitachi 135 digger

A CROSS border appeal for information has been made over the theft of a digger last week.

The PSNI have sought assistance following the theft of an orange Hitachi 135 digger, which was reported stolen in Strabane last Wednesday, September 23.

The digger was stolen from a yard in Strabane and loaded onto a red low loader, which was attached to a red Massey Ferguson.

The vehicle crossed into Lifford at 7.10 pm last Wednesday.

Gardaí and the PSNI have urged anyone with information to come forward about the theft or the digger’s current whereabouts.
