Traffic & Travel: Lane closures at Altnagelvin roundabout this weekend

THE Derry public are being advised of roadworks this weekend at Altnagelvin roundabout.

There will be lane closures as part of the A6 Derry to Dungiven dualling works.

A spokesperson for City Centre Initiative said: “We would like to inform you that three lane closures will be in place on the approaches to the Altnagelvin Roundabout from Friday 18th September until Monday 21st September continuously.

“These lane closures are required to facilitate the construction of a side road tie in relating to the Derry to Dungiven Dualling Scheme.

A514, Crescent Link
From: Lisnagelvin Road
To: Altnagelvin Roundabout

A6, Dungiven Road
From: Dennet Gardens
To: Altnagelvin Roundabout

A514, Crescent Link
From: Irish Street
To: Altnagelvin Roundabout

Duration of closure:
Friday 18th September at 19:00 (7 pm) until Monday 21st September at 06:00 (6 am)
Continuous Lane Closures

Expected Delay:
Less than 5 Minutes

This closure is required for:
A6 Derry to Dungiven Dualling Works
Construction of Side Road Tie In
