Job vacancy: Financial Controller sought for busy Donegal company

A COMPANY, based in south west Donegal, is seeking an experienced financial controller.

The Company

Our client is based in SW Donegal in the manufacturing sector. They are seeking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller.

The Position:

The successful candidate will manage the day to day activities of the finance team. Role is varied and will include

  • Monthly accounts preparation
  • Manage weekly KPI reporting
  • Supervise and develop the accounts department
  • Stock management
  • Liaise directly with the board of directors and report at monthly meetings
  • Financial analysis
  • Audit preparation and management
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Cashflow
  • Review and improve finance policies, procedures and controls
  • Manager external relationships
  • Implement job costing system

The Person:

  • Qualified accountant with similar experience in a hands-on role, preferentially within the manufacturing sector
  • Team management experience
  • Very strong technical accounting skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Process orientated
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €45,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
