Mayor expresses sadness at death of Derry youth worker Brian McMenamin

Derry youth worker Brian McMenamin who has sadly died

MAYOR of Derry City and Strabane District Council Councillor Brian Tierney has expressed his condolences to the family of Brian McMenamin.

The well known Derry youth worker has suddenly passed away.

Said Mayor Tierney: “I am saddened to learn of the passing of well-known Youth Worker Brian McMenamin.

“I was fortunate to work closely with Brian on the Bogside and Brandywell Youth Forum.

“I experience first hand his passion for his community and improving young people’s lives.

“I wish to extend my condolences to his family.”
