Coronavirus: No new COVID-19-related deaths recorded in North

NO COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded by the Department of Health in the North of Irelan in the past 24 hours.

It means the number of deaths from the virus here remains at 556.

The department’s daily figures are mostly comprised of hospital deaths, where a patient had previously tested positive for the virus.

The latest figures on the department’s dashboard show the total number of confirmed positive cases now stands at 5,912.

Two patients with COVID-19 are currently being treated in intensive care in a hospital here.

There have been 29 deaths from Coronavirus in Derry City and Strabane District Council since the pandemic erupted in March this year.
