Coronavirus: Three more people in North lose their lives to COVID-19

THE Department of Health’s figures show three further deaths in the North of Ireland.

It brings its total to 521.

One of the deaths happened since Thursday, the two others happened earlier but have only just been added to the department’s total.

The department’s daily figures are mostly comprised of hospital deaths and where a patient had previously tested positive for the virus.

The latest figures on the department’s dashboard show a further 17 confirmed positive cases of the virus, bringing that total to 4,696.

There have been 27 confirmed deaths from Coronavirus in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area with over 160 confirmed cases.
