Coronavirus: Six more deaths in North from COVID-19 as toll rises to 140

THE Public Health Agency has announced that six more people diagnosed with Coronavirus have died in hospital in the North of Ireland.

It brings the number of hospital deaths from COVID-19 in the North of Ireland now to 140.

A further 121 new cases have been confirmed, bringing the total positive cases to 2,088.

A total number of 13,672 have been tested so far for Coronavirus.

The figures are correct as of 11 am on Wednesday.

There are currently 133 confirmed cases in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area.

The number of people who have died in care homes from COVID-19 will be released this Friday.

A further 651 people have died from Coronavirus in England

It brings the total number of Hospital deaths in England to 11,656.
