The Audi A4 car seized by Ballyarnett NPT after it was found to have no insurance or MOT

POLICE in Derry continue to take dangerous and uninsured vehicles off the streets of Derry.

The Audi A4 saloon was seized on Saturday evening in the city by local police on patrol as part of the festive Operation Road Safe campaign.

This was launched at the end of November to crack down on drink drivers and those on the roads without insurance or valid MOT certificates.

PSNI Foyle say of the incident on its Facebook page: “When you fail to stop when signalled to do so by Police and fail to insure, MOT and register your car…long runs the fox 🦊 – Ballyarnett NPT.”
