POLICE are investigating a shooting incident in Derry on Sunday night.
The PSNI say officers were alerted around 10 pm on Sunday when two masked men approached a house in the Shearwater Way area in the Waterside and fired a shot through the front living room window.
Fortunately, no one was injured in this reckless attack.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Officers would urge anyone who was in the Shearwater Way area on Sunday evening and has any information which would help them with their enquiries to contact them at Strand Road police station on the 101 number quoting reference number 1943 of 20/10/19.
“Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on freephone 0800 555 111.”
