Brexit information booklet provides little in the way of answers – Mullan

SINN Féin’s Karen Mullan has said the Brexit information booklet sent to every household provides little in the way of answers for people living in the North.

Said the Foyle MLA0: “The information document sent to households in relation to Brexit provides little in the way of answers nor does it address people’s concerns surrounding a no-deal Brexit.

“The reality is that Brexit will have disastrous implications for the north’s economy, for citizen’s rights and the Good Friday Agreement.

“The people of the North rejected Brexit yet it is being forced upon us by the Tory Brexiteers and their allies in the DUP.

“The only way to avoid a crash out no-deal Brexit is through the Withdrawal Agreement and the Irish backstop contained within it.”
