Entries still open for Jog in the Bog next month

PEOPLE are being encouraged to get their running shoes on for the annual ‘Jog in the Bog’.

The race takes place this year on Thursday, August 8.

The 5k route takes in the Bogside, Brandywell and Bishop Street areas.

The kids race starts at 6.30 pm which costs £1 to enter.

While the main race will get under starters orders at 7 pm with a £7 entry fee.

Registration is open to all.

There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and third places for both males and females.

And a trophy will be handed out to the team with the most participants.

There will also be chipped time runs.

And the first 300 to enter will get a free Jog in the Bog T-shirt.
