SINN Féin Foyleside Councillor Mickey Cooper has called for those responsible for a paint attack on a home in the Foyle Springs area in the early hours of Thursday morning to explain their actions.
The couple who have only recently moved into the area awoke on Thursday morning to discover paint had been thrown over the front of their home.
Councillor Cooper said: “I would call on those responsible for these type of attacks to desist.
“The people of Foyle Springs do not wish to see such incidents carried out in their community.
“The young couple are well respected in the area and they have no idea why anyone would choose to attack their home.”
