SINN Féin Councillor Tina Burke has welcomed the news that an Application Notice (PAN), and site location plan has been lodged relating to the proposed mixed use development.

This will include major social housing development, extension and refurbishment of the existing clubhouse to provide new multi-use community building and improvement works to existing car park at Lands at and adjacent to Sean Dolan’s GAC.

She said: “I welcome the news that this application has been lodged.

“These exciting plans would see a mixed use development adjacent to Sean Dolan’s GAC including a new social housing development.

“The plans will also see an extension and refurbishment of the existing clubhouse to provide new multi-use community building, state of the art indoor training facility and improvement works to existing car park at Lands at and adjacent to Sean Dolan’s GAC.

“I would encourage local residents to attend the information drop-in event which will be held in Sean Dolan GAC Clubhouse, Blighs Lane on Tuesday, June 25, from 3.00 pm to 7.00 pm.”
