THE SDLP’s Mark H Durkan has welcomed the addition of new Post Office at Craig’s Costcutter Store at the Crescent Link area of the city.

The Foyle MLA said: “This is great news for the growing residential area of the Crescent Link, the additional Post Office in this part of the city is a welcome widening of access to these services.

“I’m delighted with the development and how beneficial this will be to residents in the surrounding area.

“This convenient new-style Post Office, with its open plan layout and low-screen counters, is much more accessible and tailored to customers of all needs.

“The owners of Costcutters and indeed the management at Post Office must be congratulated on this modern design which no doubt will aid ease of use for everyone.”

The anticipated opening date for opening of the service will be Friday 28th June at 1 pm.

The business hours will mirror current opening times which is Monday to Saturday 7 am to 9 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm.
